The Issue

Drivers unaware and confused
The TFL and the Met introduced a temporary 40mph speed limit enforcement on the A20 GLA Road Sidcup By-pass in Southeast London. The limit was introduced without adequate signage or clear communication, leaving countless drivers unaware of the change.

Unjust Prosecution
Many have faced fines, points on their licenses, driving bans and even court cases for unknowingly exceeding the temporary limit. Despite significant evidence pointing to systemic failings in how this enforcement was handled, drivers continue to be prosecuted with little recourse or support.

Miscarriage of Justice
Poor signage, lack of transparency, and inconsistent enforcement have left many feeling unfairly penalised. Worse still, attempts to defend these cases have been met with hostile magistrates and disproportionate threats of fines, leaving thousands feeling powerless.
